The company Stanislav Valachovic provides a limited warranty on its furniture, which applies to the original purchaser at the original delivery address. This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery. In addition, it covers structural defects of the frame for 3 years from the date of delivery. The Stanislav Valachovic limited warranty does not cover damage caused by faulty installation, improper use, or normal wear and tear. A manufacturing defect within the meaning of these limited warranties is a situation where the product is structurally unstable, defective, or its appearance changes significantly as a result.
At our discretion, we will repair or replace any part of the product or the entire product if it is evaluated as defective. If you encounter a problem with our warranties, please contact us so we can find a solution. We will need photos to assess the condition of the product.
Product and material specific details, exclusions and conditions
Any customer-made modifications to the frame, use of chemicals or cleaning methods that damage the frame, will void the Stanislav Valachovic limited warranty.
Covers and upholstery: Covers and upholstery are protected against material fatigue. The Stanislav Valachovic limited warranty does not cover damage to covers and upholstery that, in our opinion, was caused by improper use, care or maintenance of the product. Pilling, shrinkage or tearing are excluded from this warranty.
We recommend cleaning upholstery and fabrics with a damp cloth with a mild detergent or according to the manufacturer's instructions. To prevent common soiling, we recommend regular vacuuming to remove dust and dirt. The Stanislav Valachovic limited warranty does not cover damage to upholstery caused by improper care or the use of unsuitable cleaning agents.
Cushions and pillows: The cushions and pillows in our furniture are made of foam and are designed for durability. It is normal for all foam products, including cushions and pillows, to soften over time and with regular use. However, this should not be confused with an actual loss of foam elasticity. With regular use, cushions and pillows will adapt to the user's body shape.
This softening and flattening process is typical for all foam products and is not considered a manufacturing defect. Defects and unusual loss of elasticity of cushions and pillows that are not caused by normal use are covered by this limited warranty.
This limited warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Insufficient care and maintenance
- Abuse or improper assembly
- Use of unsuitable cleaning agents, oils or chemicals
- Mold
- Vandalism, pets or rodents
- Normal compression or flattening of cushions and pillows
- Natural disasters (ice, flood, wind, etc.)
- Non-private (commercial) use
- Exposure to heat or flames
- Unauthorized repairs
- Excessive product load
